The WiFi is certainly stronger, with a small speed improvement with the Sagem 2304n. I found that it does however have a very slow user interface now.

If you make any changes, please do back them up to a file on your PC. Should you need to reset the router at a later date, you can quickly recover the settings this way.

      Re: Sagem F@ST 2304n - New Firmware 5.14.6.1a4N

it seems ok, speeds are identical to the D-Link for me and the wireless is slightly better than the D-Link. The interface is slow on mine as well Scubbie but not really frustratingly so. Cant see the point in it having any n capability's when they are so restricted.

My noise margin is not what you call stable though it is all over the shop and the router resynced soon after dark and i am sorry to say a phone call knocks it out, i was convinced it was just the D-Link as fault but its obviously still a line fault. I cant be arsed going though all the tier 1 cobblers again so ill just put up with it till fibre is available.

I have noticed the interface getting slower the longer the router is on Scubbie.

Perhaps you can understand why I was only too happy to get my Netgear DGND3700.

Perhaps not. In fairness the majority of Sky BB Customers are never going to look at the user interface.

Personally I like to lock down my WiFi so that only known devices can access it. This means that if I have a friend visit, I need to add their Laptop's WiFi adaptor to the list of approved devices.

Since this can take around 10-15 minutes, it can become an issue.

I have to say so far it's doing a better job than my d-link

I booted in to XP earlier and oddly the connection showed at 130Mbit not the 75Mbit W7 shows.

It probably has better drivers for XP than it does for Win7. Did you install drivers or are you using the generic Win7 ones?

the real ones mate, there is no W7 drivers for this TP-Link card, i think it is just being missreported TBH cos the router cant do 130Mbps can it?
