      Question NETGEAR firmware problem

Hi I'm trying to upgrade my NETGEAR DG834GT as I'm having problems with my wifi dropping every few minutes through my Iphone 3gs.
I've read that it's not possible to upgrade using Vista/windows 7, if this is the case - how else am I able to upgrade and fix my problem?

If you are looking to flash the official netgear firmware then yes it is possible to do so on Windows 7. All you have to do is right click the update utility and run it as administrator.

If that doesn't work try right click -> properties -> go to the compatibility tab and check 'run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP sp3'

      Re: NETGEAR firmware problem

I would suggest you update your firmware via Ethernet, not wifi
