max rate of 2304n
hello. my new 2304n router is reporting a max rate of 54meg. when i use a network scanner the other networks in the area are coming up at 130(n).
does anyone know what i should be able to get from the new sky router?

Should be 72mb if youve not changed any settings.Its not fully N rated kinda only half way there.

Mode should be auto http://192.168.0.1/sky_wireless_settings-wpa2mix.html
At least on mine they were and its showed as 72mb.

Whoa!
I would not suggest that you go changing the WiFi settings just yet.
There isn't a huge benefit between 54Mb & 72Mb on the WiFi and there have been lots of reports about problems.
Could I therefore suggest that you leave it set to 54Mb for the moment please?
If you have problems, then change it.
Setting the Sagem 2304n to WiFi g has been a recommended interim solution by the support staff on the Sky Help Forum.

Remember too, that unless you are using an N standard adapter you will not see anything over 54mbps reported on your PC/Laptop..It will make no difference to the speed you can download at, even if you have an N adapter.
