would turning the router off and on too many times also cause DLM to kick in as well? Or when it is done it won't restart unless you change your package?
I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!

It will cause DLM to re-sync your line if you frequently turn the router on & off.

It will be read as a line fault and your speeds will be reduced to compensate.

Mine had to be rebooted at least 6-7 times before i changed to a netgear all within the first 10 days. But i cant see the point of asking them to start again until this 2304n is fixed.

My speed has been inadvertently affected. Dropped from 19996 connect, to 16382. I even got it adjusted back up, but has gone back down to 16382 again! DOH!

Still need to plug my old router back in, but have been doing a little fault finding.

Speed wise the Sagem 2304n I have stayed stable between 19,997 & 19,999, so I would look to see what the cause is if I were you. From memory you have already started a thread with your stat on, so post an update there.

Ahh! Another member of the head-banging-wall brigade.

I've been a little upset today because my connection has been playing up considerably.

As of this morning, mine has been up and running for a record 86 hours, no idea how long it's going to last though

That's with everything wired, apart from two mobiles which have been used sparingly wirelessly for general browsing and a bit of Youtube.

Thumbs up Re: Sagemcom F@ST 2304n Information

      Hi all,

I am about to be activated, and having read the multiple pages on the 2304n, I think I can say I'm dreading the day.
Should I try and cancel... or buy a new router... or input sky's advice number into speed dial?
Anyway thanks for all the info so far.

      Love you humour!

Seriously though, it you have a spare WiFi router, then linking the two together is the best idea until the problem gets fixed.

As far as purchasing a 2nd router is concerned, if you don't already have one, then there is no harm in having a spare. Should the Sky router fail, you can quickly get back on-line whilst you wait for a replacement from Sky.

This problem hasn't helped me at all and for now I've returned to using the Netgear DG934G as the Sagem 2304n was making me ill with the drops in my connection.
