      If you have used the site below and chose the F@AST 2504 link, then yes.

      So i get the user/pass from it when i did get on the internet and plugged my Netgear in.But before i had the chance to enter the settings it connected to the internet straight away
      It still had the user/pass i had entered from the first sagem router i was sent.With these settings the Netgear wouldnt connect but its all working now so its definetly staying plugged in now
      I find the following sometimes helps when things like what you have described above happens:

      1. Stand facing a wall with feet 10cm from the wall.
      2. Move head violently towards wall at high velocity.
      3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 several times.

      Re: Sagemcom F@ST 2304n Information

      Hi,

      I am completely new to this forum so I might be stating the known but, I have just signed up for sky bb and been connected for about 14 days via the 2304 router (i know my profile says otherwise at the moment; error on my part!). I've experienced the same wireless signal loss and complete connection loss that many people are reporting here, I called sky and got onto their tech helpline who informed me that there is a known fault with this model router and they'll send a new one within 5 days (still hasn't arrived 7 days on mind you!).

      Has anybody else been told this or are they just fobbing me off?

      Unfortunately there is no known fix for those who are experiencing these problems at present.

      As has been mentioned a few times, there are some temporary solutions available, but understandably, these are not ideal solutions for everyone.

      They include:

      * use a non-Sky router (against Sky's T&Cs, but frequently done)

      * use a WiFi extender

      * use a spare WiFi router & piggyback it on to the Sky router

      Understandable! It's all far more frustrating than it should be

      Re: Sagemcom F@ST 2304n Information

      Hi All,

      We are aware that a small number of customers have been experiencing issues maintaining a stable wireless connection on ‘Sagemcom F@ST2304’ routers.

      Turning the router off and on will usually help resolve the issue temporarily. However, as a short term measure it’s recommended that, if the issue persists, you turn off the wireless connection on your PC or laptop and connect using the yellow Ethernet cable supplied with your router. You can find help setting up a wired connection here.

      We have identified the cause of the problem and are working on a firmware update to resolve this issue. Testing is under way and we hope to rollout the automatic firmware upgrade in the next few weeks. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused. We’ll keep you updated on the Sky Help forum.

      If you are using a wired connection and you continue to experience stability issues this could be due to a fault with your broadband connection, you can find help to resolve a slow or unstable Broadband connection here

      Turning the router off and on will usually help resolve the issue temporarily.
      It will also mess up the DLM training permanently if done too often.
