      Re: Router advice

It really depends on what you are looking for.

There are a couple of threads where alternative routers were discusses recently. I listed a few factors which might influence your choice. Budget is a major one.

There is a reasonable WiFi n router available at around 20. The top end, with Gbit LAN, USB ports, multiple WAN connections & guest access, tend to go for considerably more.

So my question in answer to your is: What do you want from your router & how much are you prepared to pay?

      Re: Router advice

That specific router is a Cable router only. whilst you could piggyback it on to the sky router, if you wanted it to connect directly to the telephone socket, it will not work.

Primarily you are looking for an ADSL2+ compatible router. Take a look at the link below, but be aware that there are many other sites available where you can purchase the same routers for less money and also obtain others that can do a similar job:

Cheap ADSL Routers (BT Line) from Billion, Netgear & DrayTek
