      You probably know about the hoops you have to jump through to get a router replaced at the moment - that's why.

      well....
      now 10 april...STILL NO ROUTER.....

      will be phoning them
      today ( sunday ) if they open !..

      this is taking the ****...

      if i had not had my old router and help on here I WOULD HAVE NO BROADBAND at all...right from the activation date ....

      I wouldn't bother calling today, your router probably won't be dispatched til monday at the earliest.

      asked if my new router has been dispatched.....ment to be dispatched on 1st

      why asks the girl.....

      cause old one is faulty......

      let us do some tests.....SOD yer tests, i been there done that for over 6 hrs collectively...wheres my router....

      "i,m sorry sir....there isnt one ordered"...YOU WOT ?

      WILL SENT IT TOMORRROW...YOU SHOULD GET IT WED - FRI NEXT WK...

      ..and not unusual. The times that members have been told they are being sent a router and subsequently find out nothing has been done are almost too many to count.

      I would phone again tomorrow if I were you, just to make sure it is being sent this time.

      It's not a good result to date.

      Please be careful with the language though.

      Hopefully the lady will have put the order through properly this time and one will arrive soon.

      The delay represents Royal Mail's standard packet delivery service. Sky don't send them out by First Class post. The only option I am aware of is to send them via Parcel Force, which will result in a similar delivery schedule.

      easy for you to say scubbie...your all up and going with good speeds ect....

      this end is dam frustrating.....i hate people telling you one thing and doing another...really ticks me off ...
      i,m an upfront/open guy....say as you see....i expect others to be the same...but sadly, the world aint like that...
      and these guys are proving that

      if you mean language on the forum..er..sorry...my BP goes up ten fold when i talk about this lol.

      and anyway..."sod it" was a figure of speech....didnt actually say - "sod it" lol.....cant remember what i said TBH..but it wasnt that..

      Members are here to help you. From previous experience, some members have not treated the people at Sky very nicely on the telephone. Ultimately they are human and need to be treated with respect, no matter how much of a mess someone else made.
