Running FTP servers with sagemcom ?
Hiya I've got the latest Sky Router(Sagemcom), and for some reason I cant run FTP servers ( or VNC or anything like that)
This is what I've tried:
1) In my browser I Logged onto the Router via 192.68.0.1 with admin/sky
2) Under Security/Firewall Rules, I've added the FTP Ports 20/21 service to be "ALLOW ALWAYS" and to be forwarded to
192.68.0.2 on the LAN. (which is the PC that has the FTP server running ) For the "WAN" i left it at "Any". I've done this for both Inbound and Outbound services. (see attached image )
And it STILL DOESNT WORK.
Is there anything else I need to do or have a I missed something?

Re: Running FTP servers with sagemcom ?
I'm new to this forum and my broadband is not activated yet, but I took a look at router's user interface and I think that appart from firewall rules you have to add new custom service. TCP ports 20-21. See attachement.

Re: Running FTP servers with sagemcom ?
You should only need to set up a Service when it is not listed in the default list in the Firewall rules. FTP is, so it should not be necessary.
If you are new to the Sky router, click the Drop down box for Services in the Firewall rules. There you will find all the default services.
