I seemed to have stuffed my spare Sky router. I was trying to load the netgear firmware to test a mates Orange internet connection. I have done this sucsessfully a couple of times before on other Sky routers of the same model but this time my laptop decided to blue screen and crash half way through the update Now I have no lights on the router just the 4 port lights flash briefly when I power it up, I cant communicate with it at all, it wont even go back into the update mode with the 2 alternating lights and wont reload from the Sky CD firmware.
Anyone ever sucsessfully recovered from this before I chuck it in the bin.

Re: Bricked 834GT
If you do have to dump it open it up and remove the mini PCI wireless card. You could use it in a laptop or in a PC with an adapter.
