Sky Router, Block Ugly.

Hello,

OK So the title is weird and isn't meant to tell you the whole topic in one short line,
So let me get to the main part of why I am making a thread.

If you haven't noticed the Sky router blocking page is so ugly, black background two red lines and a line of text. Now I know the block page isn't meant to be dressed in flashing lights, so my question is how can I change the HTML of that page.

And you can't say 'you cant', 'impossible' because we all know nothing is impossible if you know how

If no one knows of anyway at the moment then fair enough,
I just simply wanted to know how to. Because if there is... I will change it.
And I know about the custom firmware and I am guessing that is and will be the only way to change anything within the router files

You guessed right, the only way to do this is with a customised firmware. Doing so could brick the router, invalidate your warranty and invalidate your support with sky.

Yey, I guessed correct.
That is why I didn't want to touch the firmware Sky do not like to make it easy.

however, dgteam have a f/w for the dg834g router you could use, this gives you the netgear fw with more options, or you could flash it to official netgear.

however either of these and sky wont help you, but they dont know anything anyway

Tell me about it I have to ring them to tell them the problem with my connection not the other way around its like they just pick random people from the streets to work for Sky, Thank for reply anyway

I think the page is meant to be 'ugly' to hammer home the fact that you should not be there.
