Sky's D-Link DSL2640S & Port Forwarding
Hi all, having spent the weekend trying to get COD4 working again to no avail, thougt i'd give the forum a go...
The story so far.... been using COD 4 for ages with sky routers no problem, until the D-Link one, i have followed the instructions within this forum for port forwarding to the letter but when testing the port with a sniffer i can only get it to change from a 'Timed Out' state (as in port not opened/recognised etc) to a 'Port Closed' state (as in oh yes the ports there but its closed)
The only other thing that might be relavent is that the router no longer sems to be communicating UPNP information with my computer.
Any help much appreciated :-)
Cheers
Marcus

Have you checked that your PC firewall is not blocking the connection?
Try this application, the Sky Dlink is on the list of supported routers,
Download Simple Port Forwarding | Simple Port Forwarding?
