A search of this section will reveal all.

Re: D-link DSL-2640s password and username help

I have the same router and theres nothing in the forum about this one.
These routers are brand new.. I used to have the sagem one and extracted the username and password from that.

Was using my belkin N1 Vision until it died.. so i lost my username and password..

Had to order another router from sky as my other is nowhere to be found!

Anyway rant over... I've tried using the usual methods to extract the username and passwords to no avail...

The new routers are D-Link DSL-2640S

      any help would be great!

Re: D-link DSL-2640s password and username help

I must apologise for my previous post as I did not realize that Sky had changed to Dlink routers, it is not exactly common knowledge.

I will move this back to the Sky Router section, where it belongs.

Being so new I doubt if this router has been cracked yet.

As isitme says this is a new router and hasnt been cracked yet. If you have no knowledge of how to crack one of these then you'll just have to be patient and wait until someone else does.

      Re: New Sky Router - D-Link DSL-2640S

There are quite a few on the forum who have the knowledge to extract the details, the problem is they need a router to do it. Getting hold of one may not be easy. If you are desperate to use another router, you could buy a Sky one from eBay and extract the details from that. There is no guarantee that they would work though, as they may not be registered or even banned.

Remember that using a non-Sky router is against the T & Cs and could lead to disconnection.

They are exactly the same appearance as the black Sagem and Netgear. It's the same casing, although it now says dlink.

Specs are 54g etc and the same login details as the previous routers.

      Re: New Sky Router - D-Link DSL-2640S

I think that my V1 dg834gt is dying as it's beginning to loose connection and I have swapped it out for my old Speedtouch 780wl (extracted my username and password on day one of receiving the dg834gt).

I presume that any new router supplied by Sky would have a new unique username and password preventing me from using the dg834gt details?

On the topic of the D-Link, does anybody know if they can do 2x Xbox 360's with Open NAT like the older 2640B models?
