      Poor initial connection

I turn my equipement off every night, just habit I guess... When I turn the Sky router on in most cases the actually connection speed is poor.

Before I reboot the router (power cycle)

      After reboot

The "Show Statistics" from the router admin page is practically identical before and after

      System Up Time 00:10:02
Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
      WAN PPPoA 4140 6600 0 2683 17854 00:08:12
      LAN 10M/100M 7408 5114 0 15532 2694 00:10:00
      WLAN 11M/54M/108M 302 0 0 181 0 00:09:50

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 7645 kbps 764 kbps
Line Attenuation 46.0 db 27.2 db
Noise Margin 11.8 db 12.0 db

If I press the disconnect button in the router admin interface the router is still connected to the internet. Connection status still has all its settings.I have to physically remove the power and reconnect to to what I would term disconnect the internet connection

I've done the router "tweaks" sticky - Turned off Upnp etc but still no joy.
