Re: Router Firewall blocking P2P networks?
canceling cause you can't use a P2P piece of software? and for a reason that's completely isolated to your PC and nothing to do with Sky? seems a bit silly to me...

Re: Router Firewall blocking P2P networks?
Hi
Limewire will more than likely require a port opening to work within your Sky Router.
Try reading this Tutorial and use the same sort of reasoning and you should be fine.

The only difference will be the port number and the application details.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Re: Router Firewall blocking P2P networks?
I wouldn't bother with limewire but if it you must... it isn't Sky,yet. try portforward.com I have several torrent and p2p applications running ok. I am sure if ISPs will try to block yet, if they can. sky by broadband is p2p and so is the BBCs iPlayer, that evil little kservice ****.
