If it is UHD, that is it.
Must admit I did not find that Blue Planet series that great, a lot of FF through it and a wasted 15 mins at the end of here is the cameraman at the end, yawn to that!
Do find we have seen a lot of it all before over many years of this kind of programme and this series had a lot I'm sure we had seen already seen, so just reusing clips.

      Re: Blue Planet II

Ok I guess everyone has their own personal interests. Personally, I did find it interesting how the different shots were captured.

I appreciate first hand how hard it can be to plan a shot, only to have it wiped out on the day. I can also appreciate the apparently random events can result in something really interesting.

Taking the sea as an example, I was brought up by the sea. As a child, I saw the blue, grey or green colour of it, depending on the conditions. I saw the waves and I appreciated the cold, well at least in the UK.

Later I learnt to snorkel and started seeing what was under it. Once I learnt to dive it became something else.

Now when I look at the sea, I also imagine what it underneath; the contours of the seabed, whether there is mud, sand, stones, coral, fish and much more. I no longer just see the surface. I've seen underneath. I've witnessed some of the debris that someone has discarded. I see the results of what dredgers leave behind. I've also witnessed the reduction in the volumes of life and the reduction in their size.

The Blue Planet II series has hopefully brought much of this to the attention of many people who would not have otherwise realised what the human race is doing. Sadly we can't just sweep it all under the carpet, so to speak. It's already biting back.

Sorry if I've gone on a bit too much for everyone. I wouldn't describe myself as a "tree hugger" and I normally keep such thoughts off this forum.

We all need to act now.

It's available on the BBC iPlayer in SD, HD and 4K UHD. Ok sadly it's not available in 3D, 4K HDR or 8K UHD & HDR, but I guess that the BBC still wants to make some money.

However, if you are interested in picking up the 4K UHD Blu-ray discs, it is available in HDR there.

It is up to the different providers, not Sky, what they make available in their respective catchup TV sections on the Sky platform.

Frequently the BBC makes better and more content available on their website than they do on the Sky platform. If anyone wishes to complain, with specific examples, then please feel free to contact the BBC.

Well as the sky q 2tb are not HDR enabled yet it would be sky's problem not BBC's that's why iPlayer on the supported TVs it's a far far better picture

I agree, I have a LG OLED TV which supports the iPlayer HDR and the difference is amazing. There is a clarity of colour and the picture is almost 3D in quality. Definitely better than the UHD version via sky Q 2TB which I watched the day after the last episode was broadcast on BBC HD.
