Re: Whats new coming to Sky Q

Remembering that Sky Q can be used with more than one box at a time, including a phone or tablet with the Q apps too, it's quite reasonable that someone will perhaps wish to record more than four channels at once.

The real danger isn't that you can record so many channels, but that you'll run out of storage space more quickly. 2TB with the Q Silver, well now known as Sky Q 2TB, can quickly be filled up with HD and UHD content. I downloaded Lawrence of Arabia in 4K the other day and it was around 38GB.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

Re: Whats new coming to Sky Q

Said it since day one of having Sky Q, my main request is the ability to separate recordings types in the planner, as per Sky HD. Any indication this will happen? Can't see any mention in the opening post.

Re: Whats new coming to Sky Q

For me the biggest "missing" feature of Sky Q compared to Sky HD+ is the ability to set program reminders in the TV guide and jump to the program when it starts....

When is all this due to be released. Will it all come in same update or in dribs and drabs?

These bits have rolled out this week:
      Voice search

      Restart on Sky Entertainment

      So "dribs and drabs" then.

F1 in UHD - starts when new F1 season starts
