@Scubbie: ER115 was probably not supplied by NOW TV, as they are providing a NOW TV customised version of the SR102 (I think they are calling it the NR102).

      Re: Sky Q Hub ER110 v ER115

Hi, I ordered this from a seller off Ebay... was worried that it's a fake of some kind, but the build quality and UI suggest otherwise.

I will try to send some photos.

The PSU is indeed an external switching mode one build on the plug, ER115-PSU built by Intertek.

My guess is that Sky have two suppliers for the Q Router, much like BT with the Type A and Type B Home Hubs.

      Thanks for those, interesting.

Any chance of one of the bottom also, but blank over all your wifi ssid, password and mac details.
Also, if it came in a sky branded box, any chance of photos of that?

It's not a fake. From my understanding this isn't one that is supplied to the public.

      Re: Sky Q Hub ER110 v ER115

I see to remember (from the Sky Hub SR101 trial a few years ago) that a slightly non-standard version of the unit appeared for sale on eBay. Think it was a trialist (either member of the public or staff) who tried to sell it, but I think it got withdrawn once it had been spotted!

      Re: Sky Q Hub ER110 v ER115

Any more info on the reasons for the differences between the hubs? Only asking as our son (who works at Sky) has moved into his own house so we have just had to set up a new Sky account. We took Sky Q (but not multi-room) and have received the ER115 whereas our son has multiroom on his account and received the ER110. Just wondering if supply of the ER110 is because of the multi-room? Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere in the forum.

      Re: Sky Q Hub ER110 v ER115

      Hello Russ,

This information is vary scarce at the present time.

Whilst we were originally informed that the ER115 didn't have the PowerLine function, we were also informed that it was meant for Sky Staff only. Roll on a few month later and this Q Hub is now being shipped alongside the ER110 to various customers. Most are receiving one or the other, with a few getting both.

Confused? So is everyone else at this time.

To cap it off I had hints that the PowerLine functionality might be made available for the ER115.

At this time the bods in Sky are still ironing out some kinks in the PowerLine feature, so whilst it is hidden in the current firmware for the Q Hub and Q TV boxes, the recommendation is not to use it for the present time.

Of course this doesn't mean that people won't try it. What it does mean is that if things play up, you;ll be asked to disable it.

      Re: Sky Q Hub ER110 v ER115

      @Russ
Like your idea this is only for non multiscreen users.
The Er115 would not be able to add powerline because of the external supply, so that makes sense.
So if you upgrade they send you an er110.
      But thats all just speculation.
