SkyQ: nice but still has teething troubles

I have had my skyQ silver and 3 minis now for 3 weeks. I like the system, especially being able to pipe HD video over my cat6 network throughout the house.

However it does have some teething troubles.

      1. Programmes that refuse to delete until the SkyQ is restarted.
      2. Losing the satellite connection for no apparent reason. Never comes back without a restart.
      3. Mini boxes can get into a weird state (losing the guide etc) when the main box has been having problems. They also need restarting even if the main box has been reset.

I hope Sky have a team taking feedback and fixing issues because I would be very happy with the new system if all these niggles get resolved.

Dunno if sky will because I've not read about those particular issues, have you reported them to sky?

Not yet. What is the best way to report problems to Sky?

I've only had Sky Q a week but (fingers crossed) have yet to experience any of the problems you're having. Sky do seem to have a team working on all reported problems and are regularly issuing updates. I suggest you report any concerns to them. The support number I get the quickest responses from is 03442 414 141.
