Re: Sky begins transfers from Connect to LLU
I hate to dampen your enthusiasm but it does not mean you have been transferred from Connect to LLU. I have also had the entries you refer to:
Provide - LLU line share PSTN
Cease - BT IPStream Max
When I queried it with my isp (not Sky and I am not LLU) I was advised that:
It'll just be part of BT's upgrade work. It's not an LLU service like the Tiscali one, it's basically transitioning the ownership to BT Openreach.

What package did you ask to be transferred to?

Re: Sky begins transfers from Connect to LLU
That looks to me like the order failed - started and completed same day. Cannot see BT working that fast.
Can you post your router stats?

Re: Sky begins transfers from Connect to LLU
I wanted max.
It's strange as I complained to Sky a few weeks ago, by email. when I first got connected, all that was available was connect, I was connected to this on the 18th sept, a day later, according to Samknows, my exchange was Sky enabled
I was angry at the fact that if I had of ordered a couple of weeks later, I would have probably been put straight onto max
Got a reply straight way (Emailed James Murdoch!) and was told that they couldn't upgrade me straight away and I would be contacted by them by letter, I would then have a month or so to upgrade/downgrade if I wanted. They did mention in the email that they have put me on the connect @ £5 promotion in the mean time....

Re: Sky begins transfers from Connect to LLU
I know it's not max, I'd be expecting a bit more than 8096!
I'm thinking they are moving people over to mid - as they said they would???

Re: Sky begins transfers from Connect to LLU
Possibly, but to do that physically needs time for BT to do it, one day aint enough afaik.

Re: Sky begins transfers from Connect to LLU
I have just checked the BT Order Tracker for my line and it shows this:
Order reference XLG904WS
Placed 11 Feb 2007
Description CHANGE
Appointment No date yet
Date due 11 Feb 2007
Status Order completed
Last update 11 Feb 2007
Notes Your order has been completed.
Items in this order
Description Product name Quantity Cost Rental
PROVIDE LLU LINE SHARE PSTN 1 £ 0.0 £ 0.0
CEASE BT IPSTREAM MAX 1 £ 0.0 £ 0.0
Now I know this can't have happened yet as my router has not dropped connection on over 10 days, surely if I were being transferred over my service would have dropped out for a little while, seems somebody is fibbing!
Is there anyway you can concretely check this out as Sky will probably no nothing as always.
