Sky Broadband Connect at £5 a month ??
Someone on another forum got sent this mail after they registered an interest in Sky Broadband:
Great news! Even though the Sky Broadband network hasn't yet reached your area, you can enjoy all the benefits of Sky Broadband Connect right now. And we're delighted to offer this to you for just £5 a month.
Has anyone else either seen this or had one of these mails as I am currently paying £17 a month for this Connect service so it looks like I have a phone call to make.
NR: have made this a news story on homepage and removed quote tags as it destroys html layoutLast edited by NewsreadeR; 12-01-07 at 07:03 PM.

Re: Sky Broadband Connect at £5 a month ??
Hi
I have received this email too (copied below) and am thinking of signing up.
Could anyone advise as to the following please
1. Is there any traffic management, particularly peer to peer, and if so to what extent and what time of day
2. If i transfer to the LLU version when available for me, and then decide to leave after 12 months, am i right in saying that i would have to cancel skyBB, THEN sign up with a new provider, ie there will be some days delay? Also can i move to any provider at that point, at no cost apart from the usual activation fee if charged by the new isp?
3. Can i use the sky router to connect to my wii and laptop card - and what is the exact make and model of the router?
4. Have all the 'websites that wont work' issues been sorted now?
Thanks in advance, any replies gratefully received :-)
