Re: Important changes from Sky
Same thing happened to me & for 2 others i've read about so far...
You're expecting to be redirected somewhere for a more official acceptance of the new terms & conditions right?
Doesn't happen.
I'm assured everything's ok though.
Try logging in here: https://login.yahoo.com/config/login...k&.src=ym&rl=1
You have to include the '@sky.com' bit after your sky id, for your yahoo id.

Re: Important changes from Sky
I wonder if it is a sign of things to come that when I log into Yahoo mail I already have 129 spam messages.
As an aside I read in one of the links about Yahoo security that you should enable SSL which is not done by default. To do this click on the cog link top right of the mail page, choose Mail options, scroll to the bottom and tick the box, click Save.

Re: Important changes from Sky
Sky said the user did not have to do anything. I have asked, still waiting for reply, what do I do with the 6400 emails that was downloaded to Thunderbird

Re: Important changes from Sky
Sky are aware of the issue and have identified the cause. Unfortunately there is no way they can tell which emails were deleted or moved elsewhere. This is annoying and unfortunately the techs have concluded that there is nothing suitably practical which they could do to prevent this.
What I would strongly recommend is the use of 'Rules' to filter your messages into different folders. Below is one such example:
I am sure that Thunderbird will have this facility.
The rules can be applied after you have downloaded your messages. Most importantly, any new emails will automatically be placed in their respective folders.
PlusNet Fibre since Jan 2021
Previously Sky Fibre & Sky BB since 2010.

You can make the day number anything you like. But make sure you are not going to delete anything you want to keep. When set up, run the rule manually.
