Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
I like the addition of the ITV Player to the Catch Up section but they need to check how programmes are listed. Not all drama programmes are listed in the drama category with some like DCI Banks hidden in the entertainment category. I find going into 'All' is the best option but you shouldn't really have to.

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
One thing has been bugging me about the catch up players. I wish they had a box inside each player for channele like they do in the Library. So for example when you go in ITV Player there's a "channels" box with ITV1/2/3/4 listed separately. Likewise in the Sky Player/Demand 5.

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
Certainly this would be nice.
The actual content within each of the CUTV sections is under the direct control of each provider.
Whilst this will hopefully be picked up by each of them, we shall have to see what happens and whether they do consider standardising things.

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
Well if you look at the Demand 5 content, they only appear to have two channels present in the CUTV section. Since one is Channel 5 (SD) and the other is Channel 5 HD, I think it is safe to say that the 'Channels' button isn't required.
As for the ITV Player, try looking at the 'Featured' button. If you press <Green> you will see a filter option to select the channel you wish to see the content for. This is the same for all the other buttins in the ITV Player section, except where the content is only from one channel (i.e. Soaps).
This is the same behaviour in the Sky TV section within CUTV.
Within the Library section there is the 'Channels' button. There is also a 'HD' button in some of the Genre buttons too.
There isn't such a choice in the Movie section as most of the content is labeled something like 'Sky Movies' rather than 'Sky Movies Comedy' and 'Sky Movies Premier'. I trust that you will however find the Genre buttons more useful instead here.

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
Channels wouldn't be needed for Channel 5 but would be for ITV with their selection of channels. When you go to ITV Player you can search by channel and that makes more sense if you want to see a 7 day schedule for a specific channel. Too many button presses.
I also wonder if the reason Demand 5's movie section isn't on Sky is down to a rights issue with where films can be repeated?
