Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
Sometimes HD boxes simply stop software upgrading themselves completely. My Samsung box did this a few EPG cycles ago. It wouldn't update either automatically or manually. It was stuck on an old SYS EPG version. When trying the forced update, the usual 'don't unplug....' message came up but instead of taking around 10mins, it would go off after 3 or 4 minutes. The EPG version never updated.
After speaking to Sky and asking the question on here, the only way I solved this was by performing a full system reset (which deletes everything, including recordings etc). After doing that it's been fine ever since.
Not saying that is your issue but something to be aware of.

Thanks. I don't give a monkeys about my recordings. I'll try a full system reset in a few days if nothing happens. Thanks for all the help.

OOps yes sorry.
Well I've got it connected via ethernet and phone, did full system reset followed immediately by forced upgrade and left plugged into phone overnight. Nowt. Give up LOL.
I can't be the only one this is happening to so I'll wait 'till it's a more widespread problem and see what gives.

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
After a small research with the subtitles problem (2 sec early on any recording) I found that this problem is for any sky and itv channel and not for watch, Eden , discovery etc. I hope to find a solution very very soon, and I can't understand why we are only a few people with this problem!

The new version with the "Catch Up", "undelete", etc. is now on the download stream for the DRX890. I got the new version via it the other day.

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
I think that the problem with the subtitles solved for ITV channels but its still for any sky channel!
