i am still on software ver r004 not the latest r005.
I did a forced update last week. Is there a possibility that the up to date software was sitting on my machine waiting to be activated and that by doing the forced update that i have deleted it.
I seem to remember this would happen if you did an update in the past

Mine updated to the new version over night, I'd agree it seems quicker, and adding i player is a huge bonus.

Both of our Sky+ HD boxes updated overnight and the GUI is definitely smoother.

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
My 1TB hasn't yet been updated, however doing a forced download, revealed it all.
Have to say, a great addition to the EPG - Well done Sky!~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
Even though Sky says that the service started today, I don't have it on my Pace yet. Won't do a forced download as involved in the EPG beta which has not reached Pace boxes yet.

Hi Mike,
Obviously you'll get most, if not all the new features in the beta test group once it has been updated.
Anyone not in the Pace beta test group will get there once you have all confirmed that it works well.
Do please keep the forum in suspense though. It has been nice knowing what is happening with the DRX890/DRX895 group, but obviously we have had to keep quite in the public forums.

No luck with a forced update at this end so just a case of waiting for me. That's on a new drx890z according to the code.

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
Apparently there is an update coming for the Beta testers tomorrow. No idea of what the details are, as they are under wraps, apparently.
Sky EPG R005.053.70.09P being sent to beta testers boxes @ ~10:30am tomorrow.

Re: Catch Up TV On Your EPG Very Soon
Which version do you have? 53.70.05P is the current version and should be available to you.
If not, unplug the power to your STB
Press and hold the <Backup> button on the top of the STB
Reconnect the mains power, whilst continuing to hold the <Backup> button on the top of the STB
Keep holding the button until the front panel starts to illuminate and the TV screen shows that the update process has started
