Re: Rumour: Changes to Sky+HD Subscriptions from 1st October 2010
Why can't Sky also make changes to my download speeds as well as subscriptions? When I complain about my poor download/upload speeds. It's "well it's probably your line. Try doing this and that and......." .Mind you, I suspect the problem could also be BT with their crap line and service. We still seem to be in an era when thick plebs like me are expected to have at least a GCSE in IT to have any chance of understanding, let alone solving ongoing problems with web speeds. I for one would decamp to Virgin like a shot if they didn't charge a lot more for the phone side. We need to consign BT to a museum somewhere and update our antiquated phone system and that would either confirm SKY's excuses or expose their lies............Truly - I get weary of the whole thing.............

the reason broadband is crap is cause its the copper lines that bt use thats why if it was fibre it would probably be stable and fast lol

Re: Rumour: Changes to Sky+HD Subscriptions from 1st October 2010
When the Sky+ subs was made free, sales departments were told a few months before and offers for free Sky+ subs were offered to customers signing up to Sky+. There has been none of this activity around the HD mix. The only rumours are from some uninformed posters on here and digitalspy.
If it's going to change then they will likely announce it when the end of year results are out.
