Re: Sky will be looking to run trials of fibre-optic broadband
I was hoping that the launch may have been this month, but there is nothing stopping Sky from launching in December.
Hopefully Sky will offer a good product range which will reflect high end & low end users in areas with and without their equipment. More importantly I hope that there won't be an equivalent 'Connect' product in respect of being throttled to the Stone Age.
PlusNet Fibre since Jan 2021
Previously Sky Fibre & Sky BB since 2010.

Any one know roughly the additional cost of upgrading from sky 20mb unlimited (£7.50 currently) to sky fibre optic???

Re: Sky will be looking to run trials of fibre-optic broadband
I haven't heard any information at all about a launch or pricing. The fibre products showing in the systems at the moment might be just for the trial which is still ongoing, so don't get your hopes up yet.

Re: Sky will be looking to run trials of fibre-optic broadband
surly it would be cheaper for sky to release a fttc only product instead of ffth or fttp. surely that would be cheaper cause all they would need to change is the socket and router
