Re: Sky will be looking to run trials of fibre-optic broadband
Our exchange has been ready since march and now the whole of Stevenage seems to have holes being dug ready for the cabinets.
I look out of my bedroom window and for the whole of this wee I can see the workmen digging a very large hole to put the cabinet in.
So no long now I geuss.I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!

Re: Sky will be looking to run trials of fibre-optic broadband
I doubt that Sky would lose perhaps too many of the 1.2 million LLU customers, especially as they pay so little.
But by the end of the year BT will cover 80% of the households in the country with ADSL2+ and the FTTC is moving fast and costs no more than BT's regular broadband product with 2/3rds of UK households covered by 2015.
Sky could be chasing after less customers as BT holds onto it's customers harder and a lot of connect customers could move away onto ADSL2+ or even FTTC.I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!
