Re: Sky will be looking to run trials of fibre-optic broadband
Yeah me too, they are doing my cab today I can see them from my bathroom window.
I'm a little bit excited as this cab is 30m from my house as the crow fles, probably a bit less.
Are Openreach ahead of schedule or something ? My exchange 'Costessey' has a RFS date of 01/06/12 on Samknows, and the Openreach checker says 'Coming Soon Forecast date June 2012'

On Sam Knows, it says my exchange as FTTC RFS 01/03/12 but no date for 21 WBC will this effect anything?

Re: Sky will be looking to run trials of fibre-optic broadband
I believe that FTTC/P relies on an exchange being 21CN WBC enabled; but if a the enabled exchange isn't, it implies that the cabs are served off another exchange. This is like my area: three exchanges are FTTC enabled, but the cabs are all linked back to one 'main' WBC enabled exchange.
