Sky Email access
Due to a network issue, some Sky Email users were temporarily unable to access their emails yesterday evening. The issue was quickly identified and all problems were resolved by 3am this morning. All Sky Email accounts are now fully accessible with full functionality. Your inbox and outbox should be unaffected with no impact on stored emails. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Re: Sky Email access
Thanks for letting us Know. Do you think it would be a good idea to have the information
on the home page maybe a tick-a-tape across so that it would draw attention to any upgrades
or slight problem that may occur.

Re: Sky Email access
^ I wouldn't except an answer to that but at least by posting here Sky have shown that they haven't forgotten about their customers. Now about a status page..

Re: Sky Email access
Hi Alan you know the silly part is they have an in house one already set up so it would be easy to transfer on to Sky home page. anyway yes that is a good idea a status page.

Re: Sky Email access
Trouble is that the status page often says "Some customers on exchange X may not be able to connect" so not always concrete and if a customer thinks an outage is their problem when it's not then Sky cannot start resolving their issue till the customer calls in again.
I do agree though, a basic outage report on sky.com or even hosted on a seperate domain / server would be a positive step.
