That is beside the point, Sky like most ISPs should have a status page on sky.com somewhere keeping people up to date with any problems on their network. There is no excuse why they don't do this. With all due respect to SkyUser, unofficial sites like this shouldn't have to do Sky's job for them. I have said this before and will probably have to say it again but what lets Sky down is their failure to communicate with their customers especially when something goes wrong.

Why not put something in place just in case something does happen.
When I signed upto sky BB I just forwarded my sky emails to another address using the sky portal (a non-sky or google address). It's simple enough.
