Has the V2 been Hacked?
A member of SkyUser has posted in this thread,
Not that brilliant although it looks nice.Having put the 6 month old Linksys on ebay i discovered the way to get the user/password out. So i pulled the auction and I'm back with wireless strength required for the laptop.
We have emailed the OP for further clarification and we will report back asap
Update: On rereading the thread, it could be that the V2 Router is being used in conjunction with the Linksys, ie the Netgear is connecting on the Sky connection. And we may have just interpreted the thread wrong. However the bit that puzzles me is the actual statement of being able to get the username/password out.
However in true BBC journalistic style we could always apologise, if we have infact read the post wrong.
Further Update: We have had confirmation that the V2 router has not been hacked.Last edited by NewsreadeR; 13-12-07 at 09:37 PM. Reason: changed terminology for clarity

It would appear that this is a false alarm
