Hmm, i read this elsewhere, posted 10am this morning:

Rio is free for anyone that has not used the Sky Store before and this offer runs until 23rd August.
I guess they're wrong on both counts as i have used the store before & it's showing 00.00 for me.

Of course I should add that anyone taking this up should look at the price first. I too have used B&K previously (as a part of the Beta testing). So do look and the price should show as 0.00.

It was 0.00 for me too, although they did insist on card details and subsequently sent an invoice for 0 (including VAT)

I procured my copy via the STB.

Just had to enter my PIN & it downloaded in HD ok.
Haven't received the email confirmation yet but it is already showing in mysky on next months bill as 0.00.

Got the email confirmation this morning.
DVD will be with me by the 11th & next months bill still shows 0.00.

Something i've only recently noticed with the downloaded version in my planner is the yellow button 'archive' option.
I wasn't aware of this at all & although a great feature, was just wondering what happens when sky eventually remove the film from the store?
Is a warning email or box message triggered prior to removal or are all movies kept on a server regardless of store availability?

Essentially Buy & Keep purchases are permanent on your account, until you cancel your TV contract.

So if you upgrade to a new STB or the one you have crashes, you can still download the film to your STB. Click on the link below and scroll down to the piece about restoring the film to your STB.

Sky Help: Buy & Keep movies through your Sky+HD box

By 'Archiving' the film, you can free up some valuable space on your STB. If you then want to watch the film at a later date, either select the archived listing or use the Restore option above.

Scubbie you no longer need a Sky TV sub to get access to your movies as anyone can purchase B&K from Sky Store
