I haven't been charged for two Sky Box Office events

In late November I joined Sky and took the whole package including Movies and Sports.

I have accessed two Pay-per-View wrestling events over the last six weeks and Sky have not charged me for them.

Does anyone know why this is? Do the wrestling/sports related box office events come with the Sports package, of if you have the full package do you get free box office, what's the deal? I only ask because other housemates have asked about Box Office movies and we're wondering if the same deal applied. I could test it by just watching one Box Office movie but I'd have to wait til my next bill to find out and anyway, I'd rather not pay any more.

      Thanks,

      Zac

      Hi

You normally get charged for the Box office Movies / Events once the box calls home.

Have you got it connected to the phoneline?

I think there is a pre set spending limit so sooner or later it would block you from watching anything else. Beware, most movies cost approx 3.91 per viewing on the box office channels. So don't go watching too many thinking you are getting them for free.

I had my digibox disconnected from the phone line for a while, and, when reconnected, my November account showed charges for a couple of movies I had ordered and viewed in August.

In this case the OP may well be contacted by Sky too if they are not careful, as a new subscriber the box should be on the telephone line unless already agreed in advance by Sky.

Re: I haven't been charged for two Sky Box Office events

I've also noticed today that I haven't been charged for a couple of SBO movies in the last month. I checked my phoneline which is fine but I can't connect to Sky from the Box.
It looks like the extension cable fitted by the Sky installer last July has "failed"; as I'm in my first 12 months would I get a free call out for this?
