Question Sky movies, i need to enter a pin to view

i've just upgraded to sky movies (the guy actually upgraded me to sports, so that was another phone call ) but when i want to view a film now, i have to enter my pin number.

is there a setting i have to change so i won't have to do this every time?

      thanks

      No.

Unfortunately Sky have to protect the content, outside of the Watershed, so as under 18s (or whatever classification the film is) cannot view the content during the day.

You should be fine after 9pm though.

However I think you can change the PIN settings somewhere. On the HD box, you can try:

      Services
      Parental Control
      Enter PIN
      Other Restrictions
PIN on Pre-Watershed Playback - try turning off

      May or not work.

The best way is to change the PIN to 1111 or four of any number that fits your thumb size
PIN on Pre-Watershed Playback - try turning off
I think that only works on playing back recorded programs, at least it does on mine.

      thanks guys,

yes, i found the PIN on Pre-Watershed Playback & turned it off, but as mentioned, it didn't work.

either it looks like i'm stuck with it, or if it's that much of a pain in the **** (not the 4 digit pin number ) i'll cancel it at the same time as the wrongly activated sports channel

You are not alone in being annoyed by this, as many have no under-age viewers in the household, but it is a regulation, not Sky's doing.

Whilst it is annoying, Its not really a big deal to have to press 4 digits on your remote is it.

Not much point in that when you can change it in the box set up.
