Re: pin number query??
Normally the pin number is the last 4 digits from your viewing card iirc

Re: pin number query??
The new Sky Movies set up has introduced the need for a PIN.
During the day movies with adult themes can now be seen.
Films rated as not suitable for children and those on
Sky Anytime need your PIN.
If you have Sky+ a PIN is even needed for recorded movies.

Re: pin number query??
You cannot record the Box Office movies (well, you're not supposed to be able to) but the ones on the movies channels can be recorded fine.
The PIN is only needed when trying to view PG's and above before the watershed. The PIN requests can be turned off under Parental Controls.

Re: pin number query??
If you want to do an unattended recording onto a non Sky+ recorder (DVD recorder, Tivo or VCR) and its before 8pm and the movie is rated higher than a PG then the recordings will fail. Theres no way to turn off the pin request functionality prior to the watershed.
Sky+ doesn't have the problem, the recordings are made, and pin request occurs when you try to watch it back.
