And that keep some fools out there happy!
Have you thought about it this way Hollywood only produces about 250 movies a year and there is 450 a month on Sky now you do the maths there

I have cancelled the movie channels now as I was struggling to mind anything to watch. I am down the a two mix package and Sky Sports which suits me nicely.

I suppose there is a Sky Premier+1 as only 28% of the Sky user base has Sky+, the HD channels now have a SD mirror and I am getting a ton on HD movies delivered to me via anytime now.

Both me and the wife prefer the new format as at least all the kiddies films have been put onto one channel, last Summer it was all you could watch during the day.

All I need now is that Ethernet port to be turned on and hello IPTV. (Please Sky introduce this soon....)

      Re: Sky Movies Shambles

I have just joined this forum because of the shambles that is now SKY - as a user for around 13 years I feel the current content is a complete low quality rip off.

For those with kids there are different issues - for those of us whose kids are older you find the loss of key sports items plus poorer and poorer content together with no meaningful customer loyalty benefits such that SKY is now becoming irrelevant - just think what you could do better with 45 to 60 a month.

I am very disappointed with SKY - to charge customers who havve paid them a lot of money over the years for HD on top of normal is no customer loyalty at all.

I would advocate that you all rwegsiter your disastisfaction and do not be afraid to vote with your feet to get SKY to recitify their money grabbing stance. Yesterday I had to wait 30 minutes for Customer service and having started out to reduce the value of the subscription I have now cancelled my subscription completely. Unless more complain about the reality and reducing standards you will be on a continuous downward cycle

      Re: Sky Movies Shambles

Its probably because I have limited taste, I really don't go for drama movies, action movies, thriller etc, I only really like comedy, so the change wasn't great from my POV because it pretty much means only 1 comedy on at a time, unless the family movie happens to a comedy too ... before I usually found two or three on at a time.

Got to admit I was so impressed with their spot on "market research" I cancelled them as well.

As Catherine Tate's old gran would say......."What a load of old ...."

      Re: Sky Movies Shambles

I hate the new movie channel format, no one has picked up on two of the movie channels no longer run though the night?

As usual to many repeats and a lot of movies over ten years old.

Subs still going up and going up.
