      Amstrad DRX895 playback problem

      My Amstrad DRX895 1TB box has recently started to exhibit problems when playing back recorded programmes. I have recorded material going back a couple of years and until a month or so ago I had no problem viewing recordings. Now I am finding that some recordings do not play back at all whilst others start but then suddenly stop. Some recordings play back normally. The box is about 69% full.
      I have tried doing a planner rebuild several times but this has not fixed the issue. I am just wondering whether the hard drive is perhaps beginning to fail, even though the box is only about two years old.
      I don't want to lose any recordings if I can help it. Is anyone aware of any issues with this box and if there is anything I can try other than a planner rebuild? Would a forced software download achieve anything?
      The Model number is R010.070.58.13p and the version number is 4f3153.

      Have you emptied the Deleted programs folder. This is supposed to be done automatically, but I am not convinced it works too well. If it not working properly the disk will become full and have problems, although this will not show on your percentage figure.
