Agreed. To be honest, I think it's the impact of headcount reductions in order to cut costs, one of the many measures taken in the wake of the big sports deal overpayment.

If pay has anything to do with time in the job I think it is the experienced staff that are getting made redundant as it saves more than letting the novices go. False economy if you ask me.

Certainly Sky still have some very good experienced staff in different areas, but I do think that BT Sport hurt Sky more than they'll ever admit publicly.
Some staff have been moved to other areas or their jobs have been redefined, whilst others have moved on to better things.
Hopefully BT Sport will also feel the pinch. I here that there are a few issues developing already, but these are repairable.
