Re: Sky+ HD STB Firmware Versions
There seems to be no real pattern to EPG upgrade roll outs now, certainly in terms of new boxes first etc. Before I got my new DRX895W the other week I had one the the first Samsung HD boxes and that actually received the R008 EPG update before my other DRX890 did.
My DRX890 also got the R009 update this week but nothing on my DRX895 box yet....not that I'm wanting it really, as R009 is step backwards IMHO and is now starting to get too many gimmicky features (i.e. buy & Keep) people probably won't use.

Re: Sky+ HD STB Firmware Versions
Having lived with it for a few hours now, i'm not a fan of R009 either James.

Re: Sky+ HD STB Firmware Versions
The colour button shortcuts still work on the new menu page, but they don't show them on screen so you have to go by memory.

Re: Sky+ HD STB Firmware Versions
I've now actually rolled back the EPG on my DRX890 back to R008 by doing a forced DR stream update. No idea how long it will last though?

Re: Sky+ HD STB Firmware Versions
Still waiting.
I am looking forward to the change, although I too might have to revert to the current firmware if my wife (Technophobe) struggles too much with the change.

Re: Sky+ HD STB Firmware Versions
I've got a bug with mine concerning the 'new series' section on the home page.
The synopsis shown before entering the stacked listings always has the broadcast time 1 hour behind the actual transmission time.
The times are correct when viewed from within the stack, just not from the programme list.
I have mentioned this 'elsewhere' & feedback would suggest it's only my box that's affected.
