The version ending 08P has been on the DR stream for DRX890 boxes for a week or two now.

It's 09P that must have the stability issues.

I just got the 08p version downloaded to mine night before last.

I have made a mental note to update the table on Monday.

If someone were to force the update now then they would not get those versions and would rightly be upset with me.

As the .08P version is already showing in the table in the DR Stream, there is no need to change that, but thank you for confirming that that is the current version in the DR Stream.

Graham-H's post over on sky's help forum about the stability issues says that those versions will be on the DR stream as of Tuesday 3rd, so you might want to check the date with someone before you update the table.

I doubt it’s worth it now but R005.054.17.00P is available for forced update for the pace.

Not seen this on here, but noticed announcement about latest software stability on sky official forum. I have the R008.063.49.09P software on my drx890, so will see Tuesday if I'm forced down or will do Myself Tuesday from DR stream.

Hello all,
Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback and useful information about the stability of our latest software version.With your feedback we’ve confirmed there’s an issue in the latest build and we’re working on a fix.
Your TV experience is extremely important to us, so to avoid any risk of disruption over the Christmas period, we will switch all customers who received the latest version back to the previous build which allows us time to investigate. This previous version contains the new features of the latest release like Connected Search (to all eligible boxes), but does not show the stability problem.
Customers on the version with the problem will be switched as soon as possible, however if you do not want to wait for this, you can perform a foreground software download (DR Download) using the instructions at the following page here
As of Tuesday 3rd December the software versions available via the DR download process will be updated to:
DRX890, 1Tb, 2Tb, with and without Wifi: R008.063.49.08P
Samsung and Pace HD: R008.063.71.00P
DRX780: R008.063.68.00P
We’re sorry that you have had a poor experience with this latest software version, rest assured we are working as quickly as possible to restore the previous version to you, and find the fix.

Gymno posted about it in post #157. If you would like to perform a forced update (as described in post #1) for your DRX890 today, you should find that R008.063.49.08P is already on the DR Stream.

The issues have been documented and the EPG Development team are sorting out a fix. I do not have any time frame for when it will be released at this stage.

Oh didn't see that other post, anyway back to 08p now.
Strange as I did not notice any problems myself, but I do remember that 09 turned off eco mode and put it to off.

Sorry for the delay, been busy all day and still haven't caught up with everything.

I have updated the table to show the current versions in the DR Stream and being rolled out.

If you have any issues with these versions, please start a new thread and the information can be fed back to the developers. If you have the later version and have an issue, again you can let us know, but the advice will be to perform a forced update. However I am sure that the developers will appreciate detailed reports.

Sky has appologised for the issues caused and hopefully an updated version will be available in from January. Due to commercial reasons Sky tends to avoid releasing updates a week or so before and after Christmas.

As someone who has recently registered this thread has been both helpful and interesting to read, I have been able to complete a forced update on my 780 with no problems and seems to be working Ok..... the only disappointment is the lack of Dolby through HDMI, which is available on 890's and upwards.

Perhaps next time.....
