      stupidly over charging :@

      hi my neighbour is due for an engineer to come out to upgrade to skyhd and skyhd 1tb on Sunday.
      today she got a letter from sky basically explaining her order.
      the letter said she was being charged 49 for sky+hd 1tb box, which was normal.
      but then it said she was being charged 99 for a sky+ box instead of her sky+hd box which she did not order with a 60 installation fee.
      but then it also said she was being charged a second 60 to install the 1tb box.
      so instead of paying a one of cost of 109, she was being charged 268 which is 159 more than was stated on line in her order.

      and then to top this off on another page it said she was being charged 47.75 p/m for tv which when added up should only be 45, i know this is only 2.75 extra but that isent the point, this was not showen when she ordered sky upgrade.

      so is this normal? being charged 159 over the price stated at the checkout online, she even has print screens of the whole order which show 109 upfront cost, not a 268 upfront

      Sky make an awful lot of mistakes like this. I think they have someone doing the accounts who counts on their fingers. She should get in touch with Customer Services right away, before the money is taken from her account. Try 08442 411 714 or email stephenvanrooyen @ skycustomersupport.com

      I recently signed up for a new contract and was going to get the 1tb box, but I spoke to 3 different people and they all insisted that I had to pay 199 for the box and there were no offers for new customers to get a discount.

      It looks like your neighbour has been charged the full price, even though it's broken down differently on the bill.

      Sky change their offers all the time.

      Different deals tend to run for a period of time, but often similar ones come back later.

      yeh, but trying to actually get one of there dam offers is another thing again
