Well I never had any issues with SKY as broadband provider so I kept them. Are the Thomson boxes going to get this upgrade as well?

I assume so. There must be a lot of them still around. But the newer boxes with larger storage capacity are being upgraded first with new software, so Thomson owners will have to wait. I'm just impishly waiting for Sky to turn round and say that 'for technical reasons' Thomson boxes cannot receive VOD, sorry old chap, but here's a new Amstrad free-of-charge, for your troubles. That would be one way for them to finally get rid of these troublesome boxes once and for all. At which point I would tell them to shove their VOD where the sun never shines.

Yes - I won't be downgrading my Broadband just to get Anytime+.

To be honest once the power supplies and drives are upgraded they are great boxes, especially as I use the slingbox on component.

Although having to upgrade 66% of the box to get them to work is a touch extreme.
I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!
