AV Video Sender & SkyHD help!?

      Hi all,

Just got SkyHD installed this morning and I want to hook a av video sender to it so I can watch it in my bedroom.

The problem is, it's not working - I think the issue is that the signal isn't being sent. So to confirm I connected the HD box to my telly via a scart/RGB cable (the cable that is used to connect the av transmitter to the sky box) & there's no picture on the telly through that input?

So is there something I'm doing wrong for the scart output on the HD box not to work?

      Any advice would be great!

Did you change the input on your telly? You will normally have to change this from HDMI to AV1 or suchlike. This does not account for your AV sender not working, it should if your TV is tuned properly and the unit itself is not faulty..

Yes I changed the input on my telly to AV1 (where the its connected). It looks like the scart output of the HD box isn't working? I gather the box can have a HDMI & Scart output at the same time?

The Sky HD box outputs to HDMI & Scart simultaneously. Try:

Sky box > HDMI > to main tv
Sky box > VCR Scart > Video Sender

Check the Scart settings on the digibox. Services>Settings>Picture. Scart Video output should be RGB, I think. Scart Control OFF/ON - can't remember. Experiment with it.

I don't have one of these, so it's a guess, lol
      Panasonic TX-P50G10B, Onkyo HTS 3305, Sky+HD Thomson 4E3007 (with upgraded PSU & WD5000AVDS HDD),
