Changing from PCM to Dolby on sky, funny sound

Hey

Has anyone had the problem of switching between PCM channels and then DD.

Its making this annoying ear piercing click/beep and some times it stutters and the stops and all is ok and its only for like a second?

My amp is a Pioneer VSX-819, Via Optical, I have not changed any setting in the pioneer amp.

Just went from a rubbish pace to a New amstrad.
