      Lip Sync problem

I am having a lip sync problem on my Sky+HD system and the usual fix on the system is not sorting it!

Looks like it's a known problem - see Sky User - Lip Synchronisation FAQ
so guess I'll have to wait.

      Anyone else having the problem?

      Re: Lip Sync Problem

Sync drift happens occasionally on all boxes, and most of it is a broadcast issue. For the most part, audio is in sync with video. My Thomson's sync problem was sorted last September ( 2008 ) and nowadays it's a pretty rare problem. You could try a software update, otherwise, disable all picture enhancements on your tv and see if that makes a difference.

      Re: Lip Sync Problem

I had this issue once and had to do a planner rebuild. Once this was finished all was good. I can't remember the sequence of where it is in settings though, but I am sure someone will reply on how to do it.

      Re: Lip Sync Problem

Press - Services, then press "4,0,1 select" then planner rebuild is option 7

You don't see the "0,1 select" part just need to push buttons.

Be careful as option 8 will wipe the HD

      Re: Lip Sync Problem

      Thanks guys

After fiddling around with the sound settings and failing to get it right, (and almost making myself late for a game of golf in the process), it sorted itself by the time I got home - must have been a broadcast issue as suggested above
