welll the HD PVR2 possibly, but why this now, why sky should have done it earlier?Sky will launch a new Sky+HD Digibox early in 2010. The unit seen in action is manufactured by Amstrad, which of course is now part of the BSkyB franchise... with a number of undisclosed modified parts and a larger 500GB hard drive.

One has to ponder when 1 Terra bit drives are becoming so cheap that they specify a 500 gb drive. 50/50 split with sky is still relatively small for long term storage of your cherished films and series.

well im guessing its because of cost.
and what price will the Sky+HD Extra box be? £200 then £150, then £105?
if sky put large drives in and done everything we want thn they would not be able to charge us for these things in the future
