When Pausing Sky HD It Is Pixely

      Hello,
I was just wondering why when I pause my Sky Hd Box, is the picture so pixely.

It is like this through Scart And HDMI.

I was just wanting to know is there a fix to this, Or does anybody know why this happens,
      Thanks.

Sky Hd Box - Thomson 4E3008

*Also, Does anybody know when Sky will be fixing the Red button issue, As it works for me fine on my 52inch Plasma (Downstairs) on HDMI.

But through the Tv-Link(RF2) It doesnt work at all, And it can be very frustrating

I think you'll find it always is on digital TV. The only way to see a good still frame is on Blu-Ray.

It's the way that digital TV works. With digital TV, not all of the picture is broadcast all the time, only the parts of the picture that have changed from the last one are broadcast. So, with slow-moving shots, not a lot of data has to be sent. When the picture contains a lot of movement, or the camera is panning, then a huge amount of data has to be sent, and if the data is not received quickly enough (satellite TV can have data bottlenecks), then you can get pixellation. Fortunately with fast movement, your eyes don't notice it too much, but when you freeze-frame, you notice it. With Blu-Ray, the data is sent at a much faster rate with no bottlenecks, and you get very little pixellation.
