Was considering this but if they think i'm paying £30 for a chap to swap over 2 leads plug in power and phone and switch a viewing card, think i'll pass.

From what I have read the new boxes (Amstrad) are already being issued. There is no real reason to wait, the new boxes may be no better than the previous ones (Samsung)

There is nothing to stop you getting your own box and doing your own install, but it will cost you more than £49+installation

Came across this on eBay, it is not clear whether it covers existing customers, but it may be worth any enquiry. It mentions New Subscriptions, but that may refer to HD.
