Sky Wont touch my new HD box !! :-(

The reason why i asked is because want to buy my daughter one ,Reading on this forum there seems to be less problems with the Samsung HD box than others.

Another quick question,where can i buy one ?as my daughter does not have an active Bt phone,as she uses her mobile more then she did the BT phone.
So in effect i will have to pay the full price for one
I have been looking on the net, but i cannot seem to find one.

As they are built specially for Sky I think the only place you are likely to find one is on eBay

Yes i notice that one on ebay,but i am a bit weary of buying one off Ebay,as someone posted on here they had a problem with one being a trial box.

I can get a Thomson Hd box locally,but they want £399 which i think is OTT.

The seller in this case seems to specialize in Sky goods and has good Feedback and the box is advertised as 'brand new'.

i think from sky if you dont have the phone , say you will be getting it, and when you dont they charge 25 quid
