      My problem

      Evening,

I had the old sky by broadband of which when it didn't work for ages i uninstalled from my pc, downloaded the anytime programme last week but when it installs i get so far & it comes up with an error of which says " the feature you are trying to use in on a network resource that is unavailable" it then says at the bottom " click ok to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'skybybroadbandmsi' in the box below. It then give me the option to browse for "use source"

I rang Sky who promised to call me back last Saturday of which they did but the lady on the phone couldn't solve it so said she would investigate & call me bak on Sunday, needless to say i am still awaiting that return call............

Just wondered if anybody had any ideas ?

      Thanks,
      Steve

      Re: My problem

      Hi,

I had to download & run windows installer clean up, i then opened up that programme & uninstalled sky by broadband. I then downloaded & run KClean, on KClean i ticked all 3 boxes at the top which are KDM options, KDX options & KService options. I then ticked the boxes that say select all, i ignored the 2 remaining boxes at the bottom, i then clicked ok & it comes up with a new box saying something like clean up successful. I then logged back onto my sky profile & downloaded sky active again, saved it to my pc, installed & hey presto it's working

Sorry if i have not explained this very well but in the end it was quite a simple solution..(If you know what your doing)which i didn't have a clue !

      Hope this helps,

      Steve
